The Big News locally as of April 2006 Broadband is available Locally in the Charlestown area and is a wireless system and is at present being installed by Westnet,  We have being waiting a long time fror this and it is a Great service.

Their is Also Broadband available through Eircom's Fixed Line service ADSL, which means you can also connect to BT, Perlico and the other fixed line operators.

O2, Vodafone also have opened up their masts to 3G Mobile data with connections up to 7.6MB.
